Adam Poirier's relationship with music spans a lifetime.   As a vocalist, trumpeter and pianist, his abilities to hear and mesh the massive arc of musical language has allowed him to utilize his skills to work with folks pursuing musical training.  Poirier focuses on methods to help students connect to the music of their own choice, as well as viable, specific ways for students to learn with grace, practical skill and understanding.

 

Throughout his youth, Poirier was involved a wide range of bands, covering an extensive range of musical styles; Rhythm and Blues, Jazz, World Music; with a few dips into classic Rock and Roll .   Music appreciation has been at the foundation of Poirier’s passion for music, fundamental in his creative process and the outcome has been a triumph with students!
